1984 Cape Dory 30 Sloop

This Cape Dory 30 has been lovingly cared for by the current owners for the past 15 years. It has been very lightly sailed (between 5 – 10 times a year) since the owners are only in Maine for the month of August. For the remaining 11 months of each year, it was inside a climate controlled Storage Building at Luke’s Boat Yard in East Boothbay, ME. The Cape Dory is a solid boat with a full keel. The hull, keel, decking, rigging, cleats, life lines and winches are all in good shape. The main and genoa sails are in very good shape as well as the teak down below.

In addition, a number of recent improvements have been made to the boat. These recent
improvements made in the past several years include:

 New head installed
 New roller furling
 New Garmin GPS at the wheel
 New propeller shaft and propeller
 Engine removed, reconditioned and compression tested and reinstalled
 New navy cabin cushions with white piping
 New cockpit cushions
 New Main Sail System (Mac Pak) for quickly putting the Main up and down and making
storage of the sail easy.
 New macerator pump
 New cockpit dodger (as of last year)
