The Formula 382 FASTech -- sometimes called the Poker Run is designed to provide race-oriented boaters with the kind of performance they're looking for but with a fully built-out luxury interior. She is designed for those who are young at heart who love speed and don't mind flaunting it.
The boat is race ready with drop-down McLeod bolster seats and electrically actuated footrests to lock you and your navigator in position. Kiekhaefer Zero Effort Controls are standard with MerCruiser power, along with easy-to-read Livorsi gauges and big K-plane trim tabs for precision control and balance at speed. But the big surprise is below decks, where there's an Ultra Leather wraparound lounge with removable cockpit table, under-counter refrigerator, compact galley area, Custom Blutooth stereo system, and fully enclosed head. A TV and 5.0-kW genset make this a boat you can relax on also.
An attractive high-performance boat.
This 2005 Formula 382 FASTech is a high-performance boat that runs better than 70 mph thanks to her FasTech hull design.
Great for the sun lovers aboard. The aft sunpad is great for sun worshippers, or for anyone who simply just wants to kick back and relax. The sunpad also has a motorized hatch lift to get to the engines.
Anyone wanna race?
This 382 features a one piece fiberglass deck and cockpit liner. The helm features Gaffrig Redline backlit instrumentation with polished aluminum bezels. Both the pilot and co-pilot have McLeod electric bolster seats and electrically actuated footrests.
She offers luxury accommodations.
The 382 has a good-looking cockpit with a wraparound leather sofa that converts into a double berth with filler cushions. There's also a removable cocktail table, private head, and sink down below.
There must be something to that FasTECH hull design. How else can you explain a fully loaded 38-footer that runs better than 70 miles an hour.
Overall, the 382 is not for everyone--it's a high-end, high-performance machine that delivers both in terms of flat out speed and luxury accommodations below. The cockpit helm seats do a terrific job of locking you into position through those high-G turns and breathtaking wave jumps, and with cockpit seating for five, you can bring the whole gang aboard.
The engines deliver good torque throughout the rpm range with a relatively shallow bow rise. Down below, you immediately get the feeling you're on a high-end boat, thanks to the ultra-leather upholstery and fine craftsmanship below in the cabinetry. Plus, your day guests will also appreciate the privacy of a fully enclosed head, and two translucent deck hatches let in plenty of light for a more airy feel. No, the 382 is not for everyone--just for those performance enthusiasts who really know what they're looking for.
