This eye catching boat oozes bold luxury and sexiness. The design is a result of collaboration of Marquis with the Italian Naval Architectural firm Nuvolari-Lenard. It was one of the first boats to take advantage of the space-saving features of Volvo IPS pod drives. This boat has always been on fresh water under a covered dock, and has been meticulously maintained.
One of the innovative features of this boat is a 'sliding transom' that glides aft with the touch of a button to create 60 square feet of cockpit space. The glass doors to the cockpit fold open completely to create a huge single-level space. This feature combined with a retractable roof provides an unmatchable cruising experience, allowing the outdoors in.
The salon features sweeping windows, U-shaped sofa with an electric table that can be raised from coffee table height to dinette height with touch of a button. A disappearing 26" TV is built into a modern blend of hardwood Zebrano wood cabinetry, lacquered trim and designer fabrics. Dark cherry hardwood flooring adds to the impact of this remarkable interior. The euro-style galley is up and to port of the two seat helm station. Overhead is a huge power retractable tinted sunroof, plus a fixed aft sunroof, each with an integrated electric shade.
Below, a queen stateroom features ample storage, television stereo, radio, DVD and central vac. Bow windows provide plenty of natural light. The guest cabin has two twin bunks, TV, DVD, stereo, radio and a large closet. The single head is roomy and equipped with Italian fixtures, glass and blackquartz finishes, and large separate shower. Overall, the interior compares in materials, style, fixtures and quality to the interiors of mega and super yachts that are cruising the world.
Both interior and exterior are in near perfect condition. There are some small, easily repairable marks on the port side caused by a fender malfunction. (See photos) The transom settee is electrically retractable providing even more space when not underway. A second matching table can be added to provide more dining space. (Not shown in photos) Also located on the aft deck are a small freezer and refrigerator. Additionally, a second joystick allows the captain to maneuver the vessel from the rear of the boat.
This boat is equipped with top-of-the-line IPS 600 units coupled to a pair of 435-hp Volvo diesels. These are tied through computerized controls to a choice of twin levers or a joystick system. A second joystick is located starboard aft. The IPS joysticks control the individually articulated forward-facing drives, each with counter rooting props. It allows for effortless close-quarters handling.
THIS BOAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON FRESH WATER & UNDER A COVERED DOCK
