300hp Volvo Penta engine, Volvo Stern Drive with Duo Prop
Full DescriptionThis Stingray 250 CS was purchased new by the original owner who has operated and cared for the boat for the last ten and a half years. The boat has been kept clean by the owner and has been serviced when needed by certified Volvo marine mechanics. There are no problems that we are aware of that need to be addressed at this time. When the boat is not being used it has been stored in a marina boat barn. The boat is currently stored in dry stack at the Jekyll Island Marina, GA. Every time the boat has been used in the water, the engine has been flushed thoroughly with clean water before going back in the boat barn. The engine only has 290 hours on the clock.
The boat is comfortable to ride in and easy to handle around the dock. If you are in a hurry, it can reach 45 mph. It also performs well in the 20 to 25 mph range. The boat is equipped for short runs and longer over night trips. The boat has a well equipped galley and enclosed head below deck. It can sleep four below deck and one more in the cockpit. A full camper canvas can surround the cockpit area.
Examples of installed equipment: AC and heating system, pressurized water system, powered trim tabs, bimini top along with cockpit cover and camper canvas, radio with cockpit speakers, snap-in carpet, enclosed head in cabin, galley in cabin, 110 volt electrical system, cockpit lighting, marine band radio, digital depth finder, automatic fire extinguishing system, dual batteries, electric lifts to raise the engine compartment cover, and much more.
A Magic Tilt Trailer Model TALS 2682 also is included.
