2017 Custom Built Selway-Fisher design 15' Lobster Boat

This motorboat is based on a typical Maine Lobster boat and has been designed for strip plank construction and she is built with heavy glass inside out. The hull has a high freeboard with flat planing sections aft and tumblehome worked into the hull aft. Hardwood Ipe runners protect the hull. She is a very stable platform, but you have to take it slow when the wind picks up. She is designed for Coastal waters, rivers and lakes. She is powered with a 2017 Yamaha F25 4-stroke and the outboard is in excellent condition with brand new oil change and gear lubricant replaced. She is extremely fuel efficient and only takes 6-8 gallon of fuel for a whole day fishing. Her top speed is 20 knots with 1-2 people, but slows down a lot with more load. The fuel tank is also brand new. She has a navigation system and fishfinder (Lowrance), which works great for fishing and navigation. She also has an VHF radio for additional safety. She is a piece of art and ready for a new owner. I have recently purchased a larger boat and I am willing to let her go. She is priced to sell, so hurry to own a one of a kind boat. Even though she is made out of wood, she is fully covered by 8oz glass and hence is similar in maintenance to any other glass fiber boat. Trailer is included (clean title).
