This is a yacht you have to see to appreciate. What a rare piece of history that has been redone with the upmost craftsmanship and top of the line materials. She is definitely one of a kind. This is a yacht for a buyer who wants one unlike the rest.
She is a true piece of American history. She was part of the flotilla in the Normandy invasion in WWII, (known as an 83 footer by the Coast Guard), starred in a John Wayne movie "High and the Mighty." She was the first of the two white Coast Guard Cutters leaving the dock when they were off to rescue a plane.
She is a work in progress, but much has been done. The owners have been rebuilding her from start to finish for several years. This boat has great bones, no leaks, and has been coated with fiberglass on the hull.
A few things she has and has had completed:

-Brand new water pump
-Awlgrip paint
-Anchor lift with windlass, 2 shots at 300 ft, stainless steel chutes
-Swim platform

Portlights are Bronze and reglazed.
