1974 Laguna , 2 Detroit diesel engines. make beautiful memories in this classic boat.
The 1974 Laguna 38 Sportfish built Grand Banks is a unique design and known for being a well-built sportfish. The Laguna is equipped with twin diesel engines, two staterooms, and a roomy salon providing comfortable living accommodations. The hull is said to perform magnificently in big water. If you're looking for a fishing platform and/or a cruiser, the Laguna is a special design and rare boat that deserves consideration.
The 1974 Laguna 38 Sportfish aft deck has a closed transom with a swim platform. There are storage lockers in either corner, a freshwater washdown, and a ladder that leads to the flybridge.
The flybridge has a canvas cover and sports a radar arch. Seating consists of a center bench seat with forward and aft facing bench seats to port and starboard. There is a convenient pull-out table behind the center helm seat.
A set of sliding glass doors separates the aft cockpit from the salon area.
Stepping through the salon entry doors you'll find a sofa to port. The starboard area currently has a small table.
The helm has a large bolster seat so you can navigate from a myriad of conditions.
The helm dash contains the gauges to monitor the operation of the boat along with controls and switches to work all the systems.
The galley located to port contains a refrigerator, a stove, stainless-steel sink, and a microwave. There is also drawer and cupboard storage for provisions and utensils.
Heading forward down a set of steps you'll find a mid-cabin stateroom to port, the enclosed head to starboard and the forward stateroom at the end of the companion way.
The mid-cabin stateroom is equipped with bunkbeds, a mirror with dresser drawers at both ends of the cabin, and a hanging locker.
Across the hall is the enclosed head that features a flush toilet, a sink with vanity cabinets below, a medicine cabinet and compartment storage, and a shower stall.
The forward stateroom is configured with elevated berths with storage drawers beneath each. There are hanging lockers to each side of the forward stateroom.
A hatch above lets in natural light and can be opened to allow in fresh air.
