Exceptionally well maintained, recently restored Sloop! Ready to sail!
This 1980 C&C Landfall 38 is a rare opportunity to own a nicely restored, high-performance cruiser by Robert W. Ball. Known for its blend of comfort and speed, this well-maintained vessel is perfect for offshore or coastal cruising and is fully equipped for extended adventures or living aboard.
Rewired in 2020 with marine-grade wiring, new Blue Sea panels, and an upgraded battery system. The house battery bank was replaced in mid-October. It's a 4 battery 6 volt heavy duty bank wired in series then parallel to make it 12 volts so it's compatible with the system. The other banks are only a few years old.
Bank 2 is a 1,000 cold-cranking battery dedicated to starting the engine, while Bank 3 is another 1,000 cold-cranking battery used for the windlass and bilge pumps.
Additionally, there is a brand new Garmin GPS that has not yet been installed on the helm.
The yacht also includes modern amenities like LED lighting, a MarineAire 11,000 BTU air conditioner, newer plumbing, and a custom-built refrigerator.
In 2022, the hull was sanded to gelcoat and repainted with multiple layers of protective coatings. The 3QM Yanmar engine is maintained and the 30-gallon diesel tank was cleaned and polished.
The spacious interior features a large dinette, a private V-berth, and a quarter berth with a refinished captain's cabin. The salon boasts new bamboo flooring and cushions.
Produced between 1979 and 1985, with only 185 built, the Landfall 38 is a well-regarded, durable design. This upgraded classic is ready for long-distance cruising or liveaboard use--don't miss out!
