Since purchasing the vessel, the owner has invested significant time and money into updating and maintaining key systems. With no previous service records available, the engines and generator were serviced, with maintenance dates and engine hours documented directly on the filters for easy tracking moving forward.
The electronics package has been modernized with dual Garmin chartplotters, radar, dual VHF radios, AIS, and updated antennas, providing the navigation and communication equipment today's boaters expect. A rudder position indicator was also installed to make close-quarters maneuvering and docking easier.
The fuel system received attention as well, with the diesel tanks drained and refilled with fresh fuel. Amsoil Diesel All-In-One treatment has been consistently used to help protect and lubricate the fuel system.
Inside, remodeling of the salon has been started, including replacement panels, subfloor work, and installation of a template panel on the starboard side. The remaining interior work gives the next owner the opportunity to customize the boat to their own taste while building equity in a highly respected Viking hull.
