Description

2006 Skeeter SL 190 Ski and Fish Boat for Sale in Marrero, LA
This pre-owned 2006 Skeeter SL 190 is a ski and fish boat available now at The Boat Yard in Marrero, Louisiana, just across the river from New Orleans. Skeeter is one of the most respected names in bass and bay boats, known for performance and tournament-level fishability. A ski-and-fish boat does double duty: fish in the morning and pull the kids on a tube in the afternoon.
2006 Skeeter SL90 Fish & Ski – Yamaha 150 – Tournament‑Ready Fishing Rig
This Skeeter SL90 fish and ski is built off Skeeter’s bass‑boat heritage, so it fishes like a true performance bass rig while still giving you the flexibility of a fish‑and‑ski layout. The modified‑vee fiberglass hull is designed for a dry, stable ride and excellent tracking, whether you’re running across open water or easing down a grass line.
Power comes from a Yamaha 150 four‑stroke, a proven in‑line four that delivers strong mid‑range punch and clean hole‑shot to get you on plane fast and to the next spot ahead of the crowd. It’s efficient at cruising speeds, so you can run long days without killing your fuel budget, and the alternator output keeps batteries charged for electronics and trolling motor use.
Up front, a Minn Kota 70 lb, 24V trolling motor gives you serious fishing control. The 24V, 70‑lb setup has the torque to hold the boat in wind and current, push through grass or chop, and still stay quiet enough not to spook fish, making it ideal for working shorelines, docks, and offshore structure all day. Paired with variable speed control and efficient power draw, you get longer run time and smoother positioning, so you can focus on casting instead of fighting the boat.
The SL series deck layout gives you raised front and rear casting platforms with room for multiple anglers, plus rod storage and compartments for tackle, nets, and gear. Livewell and fish‑focused features borrowed from Skeeter’s bass boats make this a strong choice for serious bass fishing, weekend tournaments, or guiding friends and family on the lake,
With the Yamaha 150, Minn Kota 70 lb 24V trolling motor, and trailer included, this 2006 Skeeter SL90 is a ready‑to‑fish package that offers the speed, control, and deck space you want in a true fishing‑performance rig.
