Clean and Well-Equipped! Newer Yamaha 115 HP engine! Trailer included!
Step aboard this affordable genuine fishing machine!
The all-electric Scotty downriggers and plethora of heavy duty adjustable rod holders make trolling for salmon a breeze. The 2016 Yamaha 9.9 High Thrust kicker motor is remotely operated so you can troll from the comfort of the drive station. The full enclosure retains the heat provided by a highly efficient and nicely installed diesel heater.
A must-have in Alaska, this boat provides a lot of seating for passengers out of the weather while the large fishing deck provides room to operate the electric pot puller for shrimp or crab fishing. Pulling halibut over the side will be easy to do given the height of the gunwale, and with plenty of rod storage under the gunwale and lots of storage under the seating, keeping gear out of the way will be simple.
The 2019 Yamaha 115 has just over 320 hours. The main and kicker engines steer together from the helm and are controlled using separate controls, allowing for increased maneuverability, almost as good as twin engines. Anchor using the 600' 8 plait rode with galvanized plow anchor and chain. When it's time to move to a new halibut hole, the anchor windlass makes that a breeze too! This boat has nice anti-fatigue rubber flooring installed which is easy to clean and comfortable to stand on.
This Hewes Craft is very well outfitted with exceptional electronics typically found in much larger vessels. The large touchscreen Garmin Ecomap and high end Standard Horizon VHF radio communicate providing AIS information through the AIS antenna and broadcast GPS information if needed. The Garmin is also wired to the main engine via NMEA 2000 backbone. These features are very uncommon in vessels this size.
All this on an EZ loader trailer with oil bath hubs. New trailer lights are included but not yet installed.
