This pre-owned 2023 Excel F86 is a aluminum fishing boat available now at The Boat Yard in Marrero, Louisiana, just across the river from New Orleans. Excel builds all-welded aluminum boats in Louisiana country, popular for hunting and shallow-water fishing. Aluminum hulls are light, tough and easy to tow, and they hold up to stumps, oyster reefs and shell bottoms, a natural fit for Louisiana marsh fishing and duck hunting.

This 2023 Excel F86 17-foot mud boat is in excellent, like-new condition and ready to go. It is powered by a 40 horsepower Mud Buddy with very low hours, and it runs great with strong, reliable performance. The boat has been extremely well cared for and looks brand new, inside and out.
It has never seen salt water, only freshwater use, which means no corrosion or salt-related wear. The hull is solid and clean, and everything functions exactly as it should. It comes fully rigged on a single-axle trailer, making it easy to tow and launch.
This setup is perfect for shallow water, marshes, rivers, and backwater access. Whether you’re heading out for hunting or fishing, this boat is ready to go today—no work needed, just hook it up and hit the water.
