2027 Xpress Skiff 185
Discover the durability, shallow-water capability, and fishing versatility of the 2027 Xpress Skiff 185, available at Boater's World Lake Placid, your authorized Xpress Boats dealer in Central Florida. Designed for anglers who appreciate a lightweight, dependable fishing platform, this aluminum skiff combines practical features, rugged construction, and efficient performance in a manageable package.
Measuring 18 feet, 5 inches in length with an 83-inch beam, the Xpress Skiff 185 features a specialized hull designed for navigating shallow waterways. Its all-welded 5052 aluminum construction, longitudinal rib system, and unibody-injected foam provide strength and structural integrity. With an 18-gallon fuel capacity, approximately 1,170-pound hull weight, and maximum horsepower rating of 115 HP, this skiff delivers a practical balance of performance and versatility.
Built for Shallow-Water Fishing
The 2027 Xpress Skiff 185 is engineered for anglers who enjoy exploring areas larger boats may struggle to access. Its shallow-draft hull offers excellent buoyancy and the ability to navigate flats, narrow waterways, and protected coastal environments.
An expansive front casting deck provides ample fishing space, while integrated under-deck rod storage, an aerated rear livewell, and dedicated storage compartments keep essential fishing equipment organized and accessible.
For 2027, the Skiff 185 features a standard black poling platform, providing additional functionality for anglers navigating shallow waters. Whether you're targeting redfish along Florida's Gulf Coast, exploring backwater creeks, or fishing the lakes and waterways surrounding Lake Placid, this skiff offers outstanding flexibility.
Rugged Construction and Functional Comfort
One of the defining characteristics of the Xpress Skiff 185 is its durable aluminum construction, providing a practical alternative to traditional fiberglass flats boats. Its lightweight design makes launching, trailering, and everyday operation convenient.
The center console configuration offers excellent visibility and easy movement throughout the vessel. Standard features include a fiberglass console, leaning post with cushion, hydraulic jack plate, tilt steering, and a Humminbird Helix 5 fishfinder.
Updated SeaDek flooring options in charcoal gray or cappuccino provide a clean, contemporary appearance while enhancing comfort underfoot. A BackTrack single-axle aluminum trailer completes the package.
