1962 Feather Craft with refit interior. This boat is currently set up as an electric outboard. It is easily swapped for a gas outboard.
Located in Central, South Carolina, this recently re-fit 17' mini-yacht, that's custom built on an older aluminum FeatherCraft hull, is one of a kind!
Currently powered by a 48V electric outboard, never buy gas again! The motor is easily swapped for your gas outboard if you choose, up to 40 HP.
This boat runs all day at lower speeds, and about 1.5 hours at top speed (12 MPH with 2 passengers, 15 MPH with 1 passenger). Recharges in 1 hour, just plug into any regular 110V outlet with a standard extension cord.
The Feather Craft has rack & pinion steering, manual motor tilt-up, forward, reverse, cruise control, and Lithium-ion 48V main battery. The 12V system powers all other electronics and lights.
This boat has many features usually seen only on larger boats, including a stereo, CD player, DVD player, concealed toilet, headlights and navigation lights, a spare motor and battery, a depth finder, a large bimini, a 6' lounge, a birch table top, courtesy lights, large swim deck, USB phone charger, electric air horn, thru-bow anchor with winch, onboard built-in battery chargers, owners manual for all equipment, storage under seats, and an automatic bilge pump.
Carefree, relaxing cruising in a beautiful updated runabout. Ready to trailer, ready for the water. Rated for two passengers and a dog!
A single axle trailer is included which was rebuilt with new bearings, wheels, tires, electric winch, 2" ball hitch, paint, wooden skids and carpet.
There's no hour meter, and the seller used it for approximately an hour to test it.
The seller does not have insurance on the boat, and is not able to accommodate a water test. He will run the engine and give it's next owner a thorough walk through of the boat's functions.
