Step aboard the 1974 DeFever Passagemaker 34, and embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Built in America by Jensen Marine and designed by the legendary Arthur DeFever, this beauty is a rugged offshore trawler with the fuel efficiency that dreams are made of. She comes with teak cap railing around the entire boat. Cruise at 7 knots while sipping just 2 gallons of diesel per hour offering an 800-mile range.
She is ready for your next journey, whether it's the Great Loop, a Bahamian escape, or up and down the ICW. Her 2008 refit includes a powerful 130 HP Perkins diesel engine, modern Raymarine electronics, and the comfort of bow thrusters.
Inside, you'll find a beautifully appointed salon with rich teak joinery, a fully equipped galley, and accommodations designed for livability. Starting at the aft cockpit through the transom door you find a spacious cockpit. There is a large mid-ship lazerette with generous storage. To the starboard of the double opening to the main cabin doors, there is a stainless steel ladder to the large flybridge and steering station above deck. Opposite to port the salmon is complete with an "L"shape settee that converts to a double berth with 6" cushions. An adjustable track hi-low dining table give amble seating for guests.
The aft deck area is covered with a custom Bimini protecting you and the cockpit from the sun and rain. Custom Stamoid has been installed from the stainless steel rails to the floor surrounding the upper deck. Plenty of room for bikes, BBQ and small table. There are two built-in heavily cushioned seats.
Accommodations with 6' 4" or better headroom. The storage throughout the trawler is impressive for its size with multiple lockers, drawers and storage areas.
Forward to port and down three steps you will find the en-suite head that is well equipped with mirrored vanity, sink, curtained shower, hot and old water and Vacu-flush toilet.
The owners cabin comes with a 6' 7" V-berth, lots of locker and drawer storage with large overhead hatch.
