Custom Built!! Bilge Keel!! Extremely Stable Blue Water Sailer!!
An experienced island hopper ready to take you on your next great adventure. This is not your usual assembly line, "Tupperware" boat. This custom-built blue water sailer, with a bilge keel, is stable and secure even when the weather turns ugly.
This is a cutter rigged boat with an extruded aluminum keel stepped mast and an extruded aluminum boom. There is a Profurl roller furling unit on the headstay and a Facnor LS130 furling unit on the cutter stay.
The sail inventory includes a mainsail, a 100% Genoa, a staysail, a storm jib, and a gale sail. All are serviceable with slides and bindings intact.
There are six (6) two-speed Lewmar winches and two (2) single speed Lewmar winches. All in good working order.
While not under sail, the boat is powered by a naturally aspirated Nanni 50 HP diesel engine driving a Rex-Roth hydraulic drive pushing a 1 1/4" stainless steel shaft and a three-bladed bronze 19 x 16 prop.
Ground tackle includes a 40kg Rocna anchor with 150 ft of 3/8" chain, a 45 lb CQR with 300' of 3/4' rode, and an additional emergency anchor. There is also a Simpson Lawrence SL555 manual windlass with a chain/rope gypsy and rope drum.
Nav electronics include two VHF radios (1 mounted, 1 handheld), Raymarine C-95 24 mile radar/plotter/depth finder, Ais transponder with GPS, Furuno Nav-500 autopilot (hydraulic drive), DST 800 speedlog, and a Galaxy Aquameter compass.
Electrical systems are charged via the high amp alternator, 250 watt solar panel with a Blue Sky Solar-Boost 3024i controller, and a wind generator.
Electrical storage includes 1 Lifeline 12v GR24 AGM battery (engine), and 4 West Marine 1990 Amp AGM 6v (house).
Below, the accommodations include a forward cabin that has a V-berth, aft to port is the enclosed head, and to starboard are storage lockers. Continuing aft there is the main salon with a settee to Port, followed aft by the U-shaped galley. To starboard there is a convertible settee followed aft by the navigation station and then the quarter berth.
Interior finishes include Marine and teak plywood with solid teak trim, and some formica and painted surfaces. The cabin sole is plywood with teak and holly veneer overlay.
The current owner's father had this boat custom built. So, she has been lovingly cared for by the same family her entire life. She is ready to take you and your family on exciting new adventures. Don't miss the opportunity to own this one of a kind - and extremely competent - sailer.
