Aluminum Hull and Frame, Own A Real Steamboat!, Full Enclosure, Porta-Potty, Steam Heat, Tour Ready, 6 Pack!
This steamboat is 23' long welded aluminum hull. Rolled compound curves, authentic fantail design.
There is two stations both with hydraulic steering, beautiful wood wheel forward, a bronze one at the engine controls.
The vessel is equipped with gong and jingle bells with proper bell pulls.
The Engine is Stuart 6A with Stuart air pump; valve for overboard discharge or S.S. hot well. The Boiler is ASME code, built by J.S., has a 40 sq ft. VFT. Still has the coal grates, but has a 12 volt oil burner.
There is a solar panel on the canopy that keeps a 12V battery charged. A pressure switch cycles the burner 130 to 150 lbs burning about a gallon per hour. Boiler feed is by a 3/8 pen burthy injector with also a hand pump in place as a back up.
A small room at stern with porta potty, sink and doors.
There is a full canvas dodger system that encloses the boat with a steam heater.
The canopy is mahogany framed and covered with spruce; also has 10 oz fiberglass cloth set in epoxy resin on top providing a strong roof to the entire structure.
