Description

Boat is completely turnkey and outfitted with everything you need to get on the water including a portable A/C unit that sets on bow through hatch. (2 photos show it) Great for sleeping on those hot summer nights.
A/C is rarely ever included in a boat of this size.
Boat includes many other costly extras not found on most boats available in this price range.

This is truly a gem of a boat in marvelous condition. It’s rare to find a boat this clean and well-kept. Don’t let age fool you. I’m selling it because I bought a bigger boat that’s 7 years newer, but even my new boat can’t match this boat for overall condition. It’s that exceptional! You won't find a cleaner boat in this price most of what you see in this price range. Out of the 5 boats I've owned this one is the hardest for me to part with.

The boat has never been left out in the winter weather with any of the owners. It spent many years boating on Lake Erie so it can handle bigger water. Fresh water only! Never in salt water! She’s a sweet nimble ride but not a go-fast boat. She cruises smoothe and easy in the 24-26 mph range at 3200 RPM’s when properly trimmed. Quickly jumps up to mid 30’s if needed. She tops out around 38 mph around 4600 RPM depending on weight, trim and conditions. I did hit 40 mph once under extremely ideal conditions (4800 RPM). On river trips I get slightly over 3 miles per gallon.

All major concerns of older boats have been already addressed.

This boat is very versatile. It has been used for watersports, fishing on Erie, cruising and sleeping over the weekend.

It comes with many extras that you would have to pay to have installed on most boats of this age or price range.

The gel coat is in exceptional condition. Very Clean Engine and Bilge.

Old grey canvas salon camper top is included with boat as it’s still good. (Shown in two photos with A/C unit on the bow) I just didn’t like the height and air flow restrictions. So, I had the new one made.

Professionally maintained most of its life with previous owner. I have done most of my own maintenance.
Engine oil with ZDDP (Very Important) additives and gear oil changed every year.
The water pump impeller is changed every 2-3 years.
Tuned up every 3-5 years.
Entire floor replaced around 2015, at that time also replaced all fuel lines and vent hoses.
New Gauges in 2015.
Bellows/Boots replaced every 3-5 years. Recently inspected and still in great shape.

Trailer:
Wheel bearings were closely monitored and changed frequently.
The trailer also has bearing buddies.
New Tires in 2022. Spare is also new.
One Axle and hub were replaced in 2023.
The trailer has newer LED lights that have worked as long as I’ve had it. It has the standard round 7 pin connector.
Not sure if trailer brakes are working but I’ve never had problems stopping quickly due to good tow vehicle.

Other:
The teak wood doors are treated with Teak Oil every year. (teak Oil included)
Interior Cabin in excellent condition.
Vinyl on deck is still in good condition but has some small tears which could be sewn.
Hours meter is currently showing 497. I put about 200 hours on it myself. However, the hours meter is not original so actual hours are unknown. IMHO Condition and maintenance are more important than hours.

I’m a member of the America’s Boating Club aka Columbus Sail and Power Squadron that does safety inspections and Boater Safety Classes. If you haven’t been through this class and a local to Columbus area, I will pay for 1 person to take the class as a bonus because I am committed to boater safety and education.

I will be able to spend time helping you get to know the boat after purchase if you are boating locally. This can be a real confidence booster for newer boaters. This ad will remain up until a sale is closed. I will mark Pending if a sale is in progress. You can still contact me even if pending because nothing is certain if it’s not closed. Contact me if you wish to come see it. I can run the engine with muffs and show every detail. No lake test drives until day of purchase to avoid joy rides.
