The 2017 Cayo 173 is a versatile 17-foot skiff designed for anglers who want shallow-water capability, stability, and efficient performance. Its manageable size makes it easy to tow, launch, and store while still offering plenty of room for fishing and exploring bays, flats, and inshore waters.

The boat features a 100% vacuum-infused hull, deck, and liner, delivering excellent strength while keeping weight down for better performance and efficiency. Oversized integrated spray rails help provide a dry ride, and the layout includes three large integrated dry storage compartments to keep gear organized and protected.

Powered by a 60 HP Mercury outboard, this Cayo offers performance and fuel efficiency for long days on the water. The boat is also equipped with electric trim tabs, helping optimize the ride and performance in varying conditions.

Fishing features include a poling platform and a 2024 Minn Kota PowerDrive trolling motor with Spot-Lock, allowing you to hold position effortlessly while fishing. The trolling motor includes the remote control. It is powered by a recently installed 12V deep cycle battery, along with a dedicated cranking battery for the main engine.

Navigation is handled by a Simrad GO5 GPS, and the boat includes navigation lights for early morning or evening runs. For added enjoyment on the water, there is a built-in JBL stereo system.

Additional features include an automatic bilge pump, heavy-duty rub rail, and premium stainless flush-mounted hardware throughout the boat, reflecting the quality construction of the Cayo line.
