The 2020 Marshall Marine 226 is a custom-built center console bay boat that's designed primarily for fishing and versatile inshore use.
It's a solid, open-deck vessel with a center helm console that gives anglers plenty of room to move and fish from fore to aft. It is powered by a 175 hp Evinrude outboard engine which provides brisk performance for both quicker runs and efficient cruising, and the boat's shallow draft allows access into skinny bay waters where larger boats can't go.
Deck features include a livewell, ample storage lockers, and a roomy, uncluttered cockpit that anglers appreciate, along with rod storage and a functional helm area.
The design emphasizes fishability and simplicity - plenty of open space, good walking room, and a rugged hull that can handle moderate chop in inshore and nearshore conditions, making the 226 a practical choice for recreational fishing, bay cruising, and general boat use on Texas bays and similar waters.
